I have a 2010 V with all the same features as you! After two years and extensive use of DRCC & LKA, I have never experienced a failure as you have discribed. However, since these features are controlled by various computers in the vehicle, just like your PC or Laptop, etc. ; there are gliches that can occur and this appears to be one of them. Of course, if your dealer cannot duplicate the problem or find a failure code, they will not just replace the appropriate computer! :( I would recommend reading the owner's manual to see if anything you are doing that may be causing this, i.e. trying to engage the DRCC at too low a speed, etc. Good Luck! :)

This is just a reminder, and yes - in this case, I know it sounds too simple - but there are cases of CC failure related to the adjustment of the break switch down on the break pedal arm. When the break pedal is fully released, make sure that the switch is "unmade".

Also, keep in mind that once you switch to the non-DRCC, you have to turn the car off and back on to get the radar again. Or so the manual says, anyway. And it might just be that you accidentally hit the mode lever?

You don't need to turn the car off and on to reengage the radar. Just turn the cruise off and on will reengage the radar.

I have the impression that the radar is on all the time at speeds over about 30 MPH. If it were not the PCS wouldn't work unless the DRCC was on.

I thought it was lower than that? PCS brake (priming the brake pads) and PCS braking have different limits but I thought one was as low as 15km/h?

That could be, I was thinking of the minimum DRCC speed.

Ohh. Yeah the minimum DRCC speed is around 40km/h (25mph) I think. (although the manual says 30mph).

I checked the manual. PCS Braking is 15km/h (9mph). Here are the other limits.

PCS seatbelts is active above 3mph
PCS Brake Assist is active above 18mph
and PCS Braking is active above 9mph

My DRCC will engage at 28 MPH, and it disengages at 23 MPH, while decelerating.

remember guys.... Do not use cc in the rain!
That is a no no. Wet conditions etc... Like snow rain and etc.
The computer knows when the wipers are on the the cc disengages.... Makes sense?
