Head light/Day time running light don't turn on

I'd say having that accent light on isn't a safety improvement.

There is evidence for DRLs improving safety and for it not making a difference. Enough that whenever GM, who would save money by having the same headlight switch for US and Canadian models, lobbies the NHTSA to make DRLs mandatory on in the US, the NHTSA always says no.

 

This was my advanced this morning. It may have been in "dark mode" since I had just pulled out of the garage. When I got to work the accent lights and the center most two head lights were off.

 

Guys is there a way to get the vertical lights to come on normally like the photo above on an LE model which does not have them? Is the wiring there?

 

Have you found a solution to this?

 

I've had my Prime for a few months now and I'm also curious how to get those accent vertical lights to come on. I've seen them on in other Primes driving around town.
