Have you seen any Gen III's on the road?

Saw a blue one in Queens, NY. Was hoping to go back and look at it but it was parked on the street near doctors offices. Next time we drove by, it was gone, So wasn't able stalk" it and take a picture.

 

I had my camera ready to take a pic of a pretty blue one that sits in a driveway in front of a gorgeous house. But when I passed by someone was pulling out of the driveway in a Gen II so I couldn't slow down to get the pick because then I felt like a stalker. hehe.

 

I've noticed a couple around town, both white. (Don't think it was the same one.) The local dealer seems to have a lot of used Gen II's on lot.

Funny, I haven't seen any new Honda Insights on road yet.

 

We saw two when vacationing in Canada - a white one in Quebec and a red one on the highway when heading to re-enter the United States. The red one was driving so slow and holding up so much traffic I was actually a bit embarrassed. I hope there was nothing wrong with it.

Still haven't seen on in the US.

 

Finally saw one in the Denver metro area other than my own! Parked at a cardio medical office in Littleton, south of Denver. Red!

 

Saw one on Thursday, heading into Hoquiam from the Ocean Shores direction... I think it was silver...

OK. I've finally seen one of each color! Today I saw my first black 2010 on the road. I'd seen one, each, of the other colors, as of the end of July. I was hoping to see a black so as to complete the "rainbow" without viewing any color twice.

This past week I drove right through Madison (on U.S. 18), and I didn't see a single 2010 Prius!!

This morning, though, I saw three in just 5 minutes. Unfortunately, it was the second of three that was black. Still, I've now seen every color. Aside from seeing someone else's Prius V at a Chicago Prius Group event, I've only seen my own V on the road (well, parked on the road, anyway).

 

i found myself this am behind another 2010 blizzrd pearl - first one my color i had seen. it was NOT solar but did have nav (saw the b/u camera lens). it looked very sharp.

 

I have only seen ONE other Gen III and ironically, it was the day I was going to pick mine up. Almost a month of ownership and I have yet to see any Gen IIIs on the road.

A lot of Gen II's.

 

I was up in the Seattle area (around Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond most of the time) this past Wednesday thru Sunday and I saw 5 or 6 2010 Priuses on the road/parked and a single 2010 Insight.

The # of new hybrids isn't too surprising given the # of techies and WA state's recently expired new hybrid sales tax exemption.

 

Yesterday, on my way home from the Metro station in Rockville, MD, I spotted a Gen I Prius in the lane to the left of me. In my rear-view mirror I saw a Gen II behind me. A moment later, there was a blizzard pearl Gen III coming out of a driveway to the right of me.

That was quite a coincidence to get all three generations in one spot, including two Gen IIs. I don't know whether any of the other Prius drivers noticed though. Maybe I'm just seeing things....

 

Saw one this last weekend at the bottom of the Kancamagus Hiway in NH just before you get on 93. I stopped for gas and looked up and there was a Blue Ribbon Gen 3 across the street - very pretty! - I was waving like a nut but the driver didn't see me. Any one here by chance?

 

Here in Munich, Germany - not even one.
Also Prius II are not at all common.
But after all Munich is the domain of BMW, Audi, VW and Mercedes - obviously. And Diesel cars. Some Japanese and French/Italian cars around, but not as many as German cars.

 

Saw a black one today--I think that's 6 total in 2.5 months.

 

Monday night at Target I saw a Blizzard Pearl parked a row off from my car. This was my first official in the wild sighting. Next day saw another or possibly same Blizzard Pearl pulling into the Publix that is in the same shopping center as the Target. I wonder if it was anyone on Prius chat? This was the Publix and Target off of Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, Florida.

 

Saw a silver one today with Virginia temp tags on my commute home on I-66. Slowpoke.

 

so far, no I haven't. but the local dealer has 11 of them. Wife said the cheapest one listed was 34,9 something.

 

Saw a silver one parked in front of Subway in Plano, TX. That's the 3rd I have seen in 3 months.

 

I have seen at least 6 in the past week. They are becoming a dime a dozen in these parts.

 

They certainly are. I lost track of my total count in the middle of July, and now it is easier to try counting the days I don't see one.
