Has anyone received a CA Green HOV Sticker yet?

That was number I called. I guess that lady was just lazy... I'll try on Monday to at least confirm they got my application.

I guess I just found out my issue. License plate dealership gave me two weeks into process doesn't match license plate I just got in certificate of title. Nobody in dealership seems to know why it changed! Anybody have this issue in the past? I guess resubmit the reg 1000 form with new license plate? Anybody try just driving to Sacramento (only 1 hour away) and trying to get this thing resolved...

 

I think your best bet is just to resubmit, honestly. Good luck!

 

Thanks, guys! I finally got my stickers in the mail. Took 32 days. Interestingly, they cashed the check 5 days before I got my stickers. So I guess the pleasure of getting your stickers in 10 days after mailing in the application may be over (or I just am not lucky like the others).

 

bleh. i mailed mines in about a week ago could of really used it today.

 

Got mine back in early August about a month after purchase. I haven't put them on yet I just keep em in the GC with the registration for them should I need to use the Car Pool by myself I will just show them to the officer and make up a story if I get pulled over. I don't really drive in Orange county too much anymore and my route on the 15 to Carlsbad doesn't have or need the carpool lanes. I rarely encounter traffic on my way to/from work. I don't want to ruin the nice lines of my Sea Glass blue with the big green Decals just yet. If I must, I will come up with some temporary magnetic or velcro mounting solution so I can remove them when not needed...

 

Really? It's not like you are driving a Lamborghini or something. It's a Prius. Most don't buy a Prius for its looks, but rather for its economy, function, and "green" factor. I know it's hard to put stickers on brand new car, but I don't think the cops will be forgiving if you use a carpool lane without the stickers on the car. And if you use magnetic or velcro stickers, I am sure they'll disappear before you know it.

 

Can't say if this has actually impacted anyone, but the clear intent is that the decals be permanently attached to one vehicle, so they cannot be moved from car to car, and it is probably at least a "fix-it" situation if you are pulled over with them not being permanently attached.

also, we had the same story with the yellow stickers. meh, some people care enough about looks i guess. i personally still have mine on even though they are useless for the carpool lane now.

 

Even with wrong license plate, DMV corrected it and got my stickers today! It took 3 weeks from when I mailed it in!

 

Well, bought the car about a month ago...I still don't have my LICENSE plates which I need to apply for the sticker. However, I did get the $1500 rebate in about 10 days...go figure.

 

Thank you for posting this. I thought the $1,500 CA rebate was a tax return credit. I didn't realize this was an immediate rebate. I just submitted my application!

I purchased my plug-in 3 weeks ago. I called the DMV on Friday and had them plug in my VIN number and they told me my licence plate number, so I mailed in my HOV sticker application that day. I'll post when I get them!

 

The $1500 CA rebate is immediate. The $2500 is the federal tax credit applied when you file your tax return for this year.

It's been 12 days and they haven't even cashed my check. Not looking good ...

I got mine at the end of May in 1,100s range.

 

My stickers came yesterday. It took exactly 3 weeks. I still don't have my plates yet and it's been 6 weeks since I purchased the car! Oh well... the stickers are all I care about!
