What was the outcome? This looks like the start of something awesome.

Or not! I love the bridge, that is what makes the Gen 3 so unique! It's the biggest drawback to the Gen 4 IMO. I am 6 ft. and fit very comfortable with the bridge in place. Had a Pruis C and thought the dash was lacking the look of the Gen 3.

I agree. It definitely makes it unique. But my partner finds it uncomfortable as a passenger, and is also 6 ft. I wonder if there is a way to thin out the underside of the bridge or perhaps just add padding. I actually really like the mid console design of Gen 4 where it still sticks out a little but doesn't connect.

Got a lot on my plate. Making my center console removal look "pretty" keeps getting pushed on my list of things to do. BUT I did recently quickly rig my bluetooth remote into my steering wheel.

(Once every two months I recharge it for 30min).

Would be a great place to put the PRNDB buttons too. Too bad you still have the eco/pwr and hazard light switches on the same assembly as the original shifter. Well, I guess they can be put on the steeringwheel to?
