Has any one installed pump-type heater on the coolant system

    I do not have the coolant circuit but a search on PC might find something. It should not be to difficult to trace the pipework though, finding where the hot coolant leave the transmission and goes to the radiator.
    Obviously this coolant will not be warm at start up, but anything that raises the in going air temperature must improve cabin temps, and the extra cooling to the MG's and inverter with the extra duty of pure EV mode has got to be good.

    OK, as Britprius said the swedish prius dosen´t have the storage tank. Don´t know why:confused:

    so can I install the heating pump on this hose? and in which direction?

    No, That hose appears to be carrying the coolant for the inverter, not the ICE.
