Halogen vs HID fog lights.

It's hard to tell which way to turn the adjusting wheel. FYI, the wheel moves the reflector behind the bulb, not the bulb itself. Easiest way to adjust is to turn the adjustment wheel until you start to see a gap forming between the bottom of the reflector and the lower edge of the lens.

Also, I close my garage door and you can sort of see a "cutoff" on the door if the lights are fairly close to the surface, like about 18 to 24 inches away. Then adjust the lights till the cutoff spots are about even. I have mine adjusted down to the lowest position, yet they still glare quite a bit due to the lack of a proper cutoff like reflectors would give.
