I would recommend a scanguage. You can customize it to fit your own needs. It is very useful and I think it helps me get better mpg.

Here is a video giving some info about it. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-5cr-WlOPs"]Scangauge Installation and use video - YouTube[/ame]

You can also search priuschat for "scanguage" as there are many people here who are much more knowledgable than me. It is available at the priuschat store, amazon, and the scanguage website. I have mine setup to show rpm, coolant temp, battery voltage, and mpg. Good luck!

First thing is to make sure it is all up to date on Maintenance.

    1. Change the oil
    2. Change engine coolant
    3. Change inverter coolant
    4. Change spark plugs
    5. Change air filter
    6. Change cabin filter
    7. Change CVT oil
    8. Clean out the EGR pipe
    9. Clean the hybrid battery fan.

There are Youtube videos that show you how to do all of this and not one thing I listed is complicated. The only tools you need are a screwdriver, 10mm, 12mm 14mm socket. Special oil filter tool and 10mm hex wrench.

When you finish with that list.

    1. sound insulate your doors, hatch area, floors and headliner.

I have to believe the OP's Prius has 60-70,000 more miles on the odometer since starting this thread.

Weird how u guys says the car doesn't accelerate quicker.. When it comes to Norwgian priuses that's not the case, it's a BIG difference between power and Eco.... Put the pedal down in Eco or in normal won't be the same effect as in power...

Maybe what u should do first is put in a K&N filter and take of the resonator, makes a difference in throttle response. If u wanna make a "engine mod" first tho.
I've been screwing around in the interior, adding front camera, do small things in the interior as changing the blue gearstick to the black one from the auris hybrid, change to LED lights in the interior.
Buy a smarttap relay so u can change warning light patters, tap to blink, arrival and departure lights.

    Tint
    Hids
    Lowering springs

I purchased a scangauge ll to keep a eye on water temp, rpm, since the Prius has no tachometer, or temp gauge. Replaced all interior lights with led bulbs. I drive mine in eco mode on the hiway seems to cruise better for me. Use power mode if needed on highway ramps, but typically leave it in eco mode.

Ive actually heard having it in ECO mode makes it use more fuel then in Normal mode lol. Even tho it only changes throttle response and nothing more.
