Mine trimmed around the mirror area and it looks like it was always meant to be that way. He perfectly matched the contours of the mirror area with the tint film. I'm so pleased with it. You will LOVE the Weathertech deflectors. They look sharp and allow you to leave the windows cracked open some - also very effective in keeping the car cool...:smow:

I didn't know that. Thought those were part of the front defrost. Hmmm.

my guy did went right across the the dots too. It took about 3 days for everything to properly dry and look good. Not sure what material my tint is made from. I'm gunna ask him next time we're BSn.
    Lifetime warranty? That's awesome!!!

I have the little clear flecks on the small windows. Have to look very close to notice, but still. I'll also ask him about that. :(

Thanks for the pdf help. Just looking at it I can see how it could be confusing. I got it all printed out and waiting for the rest of the package.

I'll post back when I get them on. I'll try to get a photo or two. I can always use an extra picture or two. :)

Maybe I don't need to worry about this but I'll ask anyhow....

I have a couple of folding window "screens" that attach to the side windows with a couple of little suction cups. They are really handy when the sun us coming from the side on a hot day. Do the little suction cups present any problems with the tint film. Of course I'd let it cure for a month or so before trying to use them.

    Any experience out there?

Right ... same here. and I still have to remind myself. At work I have parking in a garage and I usually roll the window down to slide my pass into the machine. Have to remember to get out of the car each time.

Now that is a cool idea. The next day I rolled one down by accident. Worried for the next three days but it appears no damage was done. After that I taped a little piece of card stock over the buttons for a few days. (Blue painters tape.)

Looks good Leftie! Nice choice in car colors too:) Did they do the little windows up front? I can't tell if they're tinted or not.

Hey RS, from what I was told, you're not supposed to put suction cups on tint.

Looks really great. I really like the way you parked it so that the parking lines are lined up exactly with the white stripe on the door. ha ha ha

    Well, it "was" fun! :(

I ordered my Weathertech window guards several of days ago. The Order Status still said "In Process" so I contacted them. I received this today...

The Toyota Prius Side Window Deflectors are currently on backorder and are due to arrive around July 15th.

They had charged my CC and apologized. They issued a credit and will re-charge when the guards ship. That's what I call great service.

Sure hope they get here on time. I am supposed to leave for a long trip north on August 1st.
