I've flown over that pass many times and several times have seen railroad trains longer than the circumference of the loop crossing themselves (and cursed that I didn't have a camera) - one of these days I'll fly down there WITH a camera and catch a few pics of the self-crossing freights as they twist themselves into a knot getting up that grade.

Kid, How much food does it take to get you airborne. I might be coming out your way this winter.

Another bit of trivia - this site displays an example of the Y2K problem - it was updated on May 20, 19101. (101 years after 1900 => should be 2001). There's also no way to turn off the accursed music, a problem for those in a work environment.

Not much - too much & it'll overgross the airplane! :p

PM me when you're ready to come out & we'll set up a date. I've been flying the SFO Bay Area for 38 years and I never get tired of the view. B)

Truth in advertising dept - I don't have a Staggerwing, I have a Cessna. Someday I'll have a Staggerwing, but my investments have to improve somewhat first.

Back to the picture at hand....looks like a Frank Gehry creation to me...

I've looked at all the Gehry I can stand and this ain't it, unless I missed something. For something so unusual it sure is impossible to find. I've looked at about 30 unusual and odd building sites and seen stuff that'll leave you convinced LSD was an architectural degree prerequisite, but nada on Evan's glass complex. Why this remains more hidden than, say, eight dozen identical ice cream cone shaped fast food joints is beyond me. Perhaps I did see it, but with eyes so glazed from looking a weird angles I didn't spot it.

It has something to do with this guy....it's construction was highly controversial.

Well I know who the skater is. After some searching I found that he is Reverend Robert Walker, details can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Skating_Minister

However, I have searched links to the Church of Scotland, the National Gallery of Scotland, and more, but have come up empty. So I'll pass this piece of the key along to those who are searching.

Oh, you're VERY warm, keep looking, what do the two places you searched have in common?

Well Edinburgh, and here it is, http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&...p;z=18&om=1
still trying to find what "it" is!

Well, I am still clueless as to which building it is. Anyway, here is the next image.

    Follow the money.

    Much too easy a clue:
New York Stock Exchange on celebrated Wall St. Manhattan.

Trouble is, I haven't got any good image to put up.

[edit] Actually, I just came up with something.
It's neither the interchange, nor tunnel, nor bridge that's of interest here - but what they're adjacent to offscreen. Clues aplenty in the last few posts ---

I searched the internet for three hours and couldn't find anything. It's not a major league stadium.

Someone please answer this one! I gotta know.

I should have gone with my first suspicion that the stadium was NOT in the USA - the infield dirt is much darker than in US stadiums - but like a dunce I kept hammering at USA venues until logic finally prevailed and found Yokohama Stadium in Japan (where else)?

I'll leave it to the OP to point out what is so unique about this stadium, since I haven't any idea (although it could be the only Major League stadium with NO parking)!

I haven't got anything to post, so it's a free inning to whomever wants to take a swing!
