I am away from home so I don't have anything to post, so it is open to anyone.

Also, is this a deviation from the game? I thought we were suppose to post a image from google maps and suppliment it with other photos if needed?

Yes it is the VLA located near Pie Town, NM. Thought the bases were covered -- didn't see it had been posted before, it is on Google Maps (but the image is marginal so I posted a better one.) First timer, guess I flubbed the rules. Mea culpa.

That looks awfully like the subject of an Ernest K. Gann historical novel, and if that's what it is, outstanding choice! I'll bow out too.

(That doesn't give too much away, by the way; Gann was a prolific writer & wrote many novels, some of them historical).

Well, it's not Mesa Verde, and I couldn't find those rocks in (admittedly cursory) looks at other Colorado natural parks, so I'm stumped. Is it an historical site (war, archaeology) or a geographic site (nice view)?
