Good one. I instantly regognized it so someone else chime in.

What fournd it for me, was the similarity to a place I know in Guatemala.

That must be Point Roberts, the 'bottom' half of which is in the US. The only land access is through Canada. The long jetty on the left is the Tsawwassen ferry terminal.

Can anyone find these three bridges, and share some of their history or significance? I think each of them was famous in its day, and the one on the left is a current record holder.

Yes, it is named Point Roberts . . . but not everyone knows WHERE Point Roberts is, so I'll provide a map link which shows where and why it is unique.

Well, I'm not sure it's unique, if by unique you meant a portion of the US with its only land access through Canada. Here is the northernmost point of the contiguous 48 states, also accessible by land only through Canada. This'd be a great landmark on its own, but I'll post its image here as evidence that geographic oddities are more numerous than we think ---

Time for a hint, I've looked at too many bridges. I've found some that were worth posting, but not the trio in question.

Whoops, bestmapman beat me to it! Great minds think alike!

I am thinking that the bridge on the left is a high speed rail line, the center is a standard road and the right is a standard railroad. However, I've yet to find it.

The bridge on the left is indeed a public transport bridge, the longest cable stayed public transport ONLY bridge, the Vancouver Skybridge

Here's More Skybridge Info which also includes the name of the adjacent road bridge

Don't know about the rightmost bridge, in terms of fame, but perhaps the OP can fill us in.

OK, I've had this next image ready to go for awhile - and if you think this landmark is visible from the west coast of Maui with the unaided eye, you've had way too much tequila in that margarita ---

Good one! It's the SkyBridge that's famous, though the rail bridge on the left once sported an upper deck for cars. Also, Amtrak's Talgo train crosses it daily on its way between Vancouver and Seattle.

OK, I'll be more direct: Molokini this ain't. It is, however, in the same ocean as Molokini, and like Molokini, is part of a larger archipelago.

Snoopy = Beagle = Darwin's ship = hence one of the Maldives...but which one? It's pretty darned small judging from the size of the boat. I thought it might have been Dureadu but I think that atoll is too big.

You're on the right track, but in the wrong ocean. The Beagle took Darwin elsewhere too. Once you find the right archipelago you'll spot this islet right away - once you zoom in close enough.

A little off topic, but if you guys have upgraded to the latest version of Google Earth you may or may not be aware of a very fun new feature....a flight simulator built in!! Apparently it has joystick compatibility (haven't tried that), and I find it really hard to fly with the keyboard controls, but still...how fun and cool.
