    well - Toyota DID sell a few .... around 1,000 RAV4EV's Gen 1's ... & iirc a couple thou Gen 2's (albeit using Tesla Packs). But yea ... they ARE going to ramp up for China (no EV - no sell-ie), at least. And that's where the pollution is definitely worst.
    guy here at work just bought one. He was so impressed, they (he & spouse) headed down to the Tesla store to see what they have to offer. It's his wife that wants the tesla. Go figure. Anyway, One customer won over at a time.
