Easier said than done. Their brain dead culture has infested every corner of their former corporate empire

The Wagoner Apologists always seem to claim that GM was caught completely by surprise. The only way GM swirled around in the bowl was due to incompetence, starting with this man

GM's Board of Directors will also be revamped. That's a good thing.

But what about the UAW? Don't they too have to share some of the blame?

We only owe $60k on the house. If you send me that amount in a lump sum, I will f*** up whatever you want me to.

GM has ignored Rocky Mountain Institute's Hypercar (lighter, cheaper to manufacture, stronger, much more efficient), killed the EV1 and could not get the Volt to run in a Frontline episode ("Heat", October 2008). GM has fed at the SUV profit trough for too long and forgot to look up and around. I am please there are no more handouts for Detroit - they don't appreciate what they have and have continuously attacked the efforts of others (Japan, California).

IMO it is very unfortunate that Obama only has a backbone when dealing with the auto industry. He's as spineless as the rest when it comes to the financial industry. Just proves that campaign contributions have the best ROI.

so if you don't f*** things up, do you get a bill instead of a paycheck?
    i sense an inverse relationship.
also, if f***ing up some stuff would clear up my student debt i would volunteer. i mean, it's only in the low 5 figures range. clearly i'd only have to spill something weakly radioactive to get that kind of payout, right?

Yes, you get to pay for the people who f***ed things up, (e.g. AIG, B of A, etc.) either through increased taxes or a lower standard of living or some combination of both. Welcome to the club.

Well, dog already covered the salient point. I guess all I can say is that yes, if you do an honest and thoughtful job these days, you're treated with contempt by those mother F Bomb people who go out of their way to fubar it for all of us
