The original thread is very old, but I am interested in finding this product. However, Wilson wong seems to have disappeared from the pad making business. Do you know if he's still making pads?
I know it's and old thread, but just in case you're still loosing sleep over this, the notch makes it nice to fit an umbrella or a dash duster.
I'd like these pads also, if no response here in the next couple of days, I'll just have to make my own.
I just got the toolbox/kitchen drawer liner material. It can be had from most "home stores" in many colours, and is soft rubber mesh. It stops items from sliding or rattling. Just cut it to fit with scissors. You can use double-sided tape to put it in but I find it works just fine without sticking it in. Easier to clean without as well. I suspect he was "banned" because he was selling stuff on the forum without permission. I haven't checked, but Danny may have similar stuff in the Priuschat store.
I realise a fair amount of time has past since the last post on this subject, but hopefully someone out there will pick up on, yet another issue relating to the 'GLOVEBOX' story? I sold my Gen 2 5 days ago and managed to secure a replacement Gen3. However, a problem has arisen with the lower glovebox, it simply slam/drops, and I'm sure when I first got the car that it operated in a 'dampened fashion'. Although I've tried to investigate, looking for a broken/disconnected component etc. I can't see anything obvious. Can you Prius fans offer any advice please? Other than calling in to my nearby dealership. Thanks. Regards CJL
There is supposed to be a damper on the right side of the glove box. It's easy to forget to re-attach it after changing the cabin air filter. It might be missing or it's probably just hanging there, semi-hidden in the shadows.
