    well agains the better in me i will try the fast acc. instead of slow to see if i get better mpg's

    Actually I found I could get better overall economy by accelerating hard up to 60km/h then lifting off and selecting 5th gear from second at 60km/h. Combined with neutral coasting, forced fuel injection shutoff on downhill runs, and timing traffic lights I lowered consumption by about 12 to 15% over my "normal" driving.
