The pics were taken in parts of the Sierra Nevada range and the White Mountains to the east of the Sierra Nevada. Since then I've taken some much better ones but I have yet to upload them to flikr. I'm a brand new Prius owner and this is my first post. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and did tons of research here before buying my '07 Magnetic Grey Package #5. After just 350 miles, I needed a different look & wanted different tires. I'm glad I waited until I got my wheels installed today before taking pics. They're not the greatest pics, but they'll do for now.

Thanks for all of the valuable advice.... You've helped me & I'm loving my new Prius.

They're 215 45 R17's Kumho ECSTA AST's on Konig 17 x 7's from Discount Tire. I am amazed at how much better the car tracks & turns now. I'm sure I'll lose some gas mileage, but that's OK - I'm coming from a 4x4 crew cab diesel truck that was getting 12.3. I'll take the +3 style points over the -2 mileage points B)

Unfortunately, no - I don't know how much they weigh for sure. I'm "guessing" that they're bout 16.5 lbs, but I'm basing that on other similar wheels. I'm having a hard time finding the weight online & I didn't bother to check / ask when I was getting them installed.

I am feeling a little more resistance when coasting (more friction). My unscientific guess at mileage based only on my trip back & forth to work today as compared to the OEM tires is that I'm seeing a 1 - 2 MPG decrease (too early to really tell though).
