Gen2 Prius: Custom PIDs for Torque (Android App) with formulas

torque does show the amount of liters per hour! and %fuel left can that not be used for calculating the ~range to empty.
i just dont now how to program it in toqeu..

 

Has anyone mentioned there is a typo in "USBSeawolf2000 Gen2 Prius 1-11-12 (US).csv"USBSeawolf2000 Gen2 Prius 1-11-12 (Metric).csv"?

IR6 should have the description "Internal Resistance R06" but it says "Internal Resistance R08".

This confuses Torque on ingest since there are two "Internal Resistance R08" so one (the wrong one) gets dropped.

 

I just edited the .csv file in the .torque folder on the phone, but the corrected data doesn't show up when I try to change the setting. The Torque app won't let me edit the "Long name" in the PID Editor, either. How do I fix it? I infer there's an "ingest" process in Torque that needs to be re-done? I'm hesitant to do anything dramatic like re-installing, clearing the custom PID lists, etc., since setting up all the HV battery pack displays was a little tedious, and I'd like not to have to repeat it.

 

You have to do Clear List to erase all custom PIDs. Then you have to do Add Predefined List to load them back in again.

Worked as advertised; thanks again. Was pleased to see all the displays I had configured remained in place. When I was loading them in, I noticed "Prius Gen II" and a "Prius Gen III" PIDs offered. Are they subsets of usbseawolf2000's PIDs?

 

I believe those are built into Torque. I have no idea about their origin,

 

I agree, they're built in. Just wondering if they have anything in addition to usbseawolf2000's set, and/or if loading either (or both) of them would screw up usbseawolf2000's operation. If I had both a GenII and a GenIII Prius, could/should I load both sets of usbseawolf2000', everything, etc. Not really understanding how a PID is defined, I guess.

 

I'm loading the PID's for the PiP and then loading the PID's for GENII for my other Prius when necessary.

Looking to buy a good bluetooth obdii reader. I have already returned several clones. New to the chat group but it seems that some people here have the kiwi android or kiwi android 2? I would like to confirm before shelling of 100$. I have a 2013 Prius Plug in. In addition, the Canadian models seem to have some minor differences, but I hope this wouldn't make a difference.

 

I personally would just buy a cheapo one for $15 and hope it doesn't crap out. Even if it does, you would have to go through 6 or more before you would lose money.

 

For what it's worth, I purchased the kiwi 2 years ago and it works great with my 2008.

 

I got 5 or 6 elm327 from dx.com . Only one didn't work on one phone but it worked on other android version.

I'm a new entry on this forum, but I read a long time.
From two days happened to me a problem with the PIDs for Prius V2 2007, but next to that point everything had worked well

After the automatic update of the program Torque Pro on android, I have found that certain PIDs that no longer work, the ones that look more often.

The PIDs that don't work are:

HV BATT T1 - T2 - T3 -17.8°
HV Batt Air fixed value to -17.8 °
Aux Batt V. fixed to 0 volts
HV Current Amp fixed to 0 Ah

I tried to reload the file from the website dedicated to the Prius V2 Priuschat but nothing no longer work.
I have uninstalled and put again the TorquePro with a new configuration the same ..... no PID

I also tried to change the Key OBD2/Bt (I have two, one with and one without the button), but even so you restore the values.

Do you have any advice?
