Hopefully, we will soon have the owners of the Prius LE post here as well. There is little known about this unicorn. Toyota only showcased the XLE and Limited. It is funny that in the past most Toyotas were LE and very few were XLE. This trend has changed for some reason. @DKTVAVKMC, could you look under the trunk cover and let us know what you find? Storage bins? Jack? Spare tire?
Good call. I got my daughter a bicycle for her birthday. Four wheels will have to wait another 6 years....So maybe a used Gen 5 will be her ticket....I'll need to see 6 years with a 4.0 first however.
It's likely because of parts supplies. If that limits production volume, better to make more of the higher trims with greater margins. Most of the industry have been operating that way.
She tried but didn’t know how to get the MPG screen. She’ll take a picture of the trunk later or may be tomorrow because looks like it’s gonna rain here.
I’ll have a few hours today to play with her car this afternoon, what do you want to know about her XLE?
A picture of under the trunk deck would be good. I think @bisco wants you to measure the trunk dimensions for him if you have a tape measure.
I ordered mine on Jan 3-2023 still haven't heard anything talked to my sales person she knew nothing !!!
Thanks, great pictures! 12-V battery in the trunk! Styrofoam storage trays—speaking of cheap—unless you are transporting organ transplants. I see a screw hole and nest for a temporary spare tire in case someone wants to buy and install one. mpg does not look bad all, especially given the very humid conditions (highly viscous air) recently. @bisco will be very happy with the tape measure.
Very strange how they went "back to the future" on the 12V battery in the trunk. I remember quite a few of us here remarking how great it was that the Gen4 managed to squeeze the 12V battery in the front.
