I can't stand staring at the four holes anymore so $80 gone to the over price caps. Waiting another 3 years so the price will drop down to $5/cap is prob not a good option as I prob get rid of the car by then. But hey, I'm just helping Toyota exec getting the second homes in Malibu! Lol.

Sun came out, my rims look good, so I've ordered mine with shipping & tax for $81.90 from an outfit in north attleboro Ma.

Sounds like the same place I ordered from. If so, you'll probably get an email telling you the parts are backordered and to check back in a few days for a guess about when they will get the caps.

The dealership where I ordered it (Coolspring Toyota) said it's back ordered with ETA of 5/4. BTW, this is a great dealership to order parts from (Internet price) and very reasonable shipping. Ask for Roman..he's super quick with email response & shipping.

What is their price? They do not seem to have an online webstore.

Yeah but the shipping may be different. I saw some dealer with $16.xx but charge $18 shipping vs this dealer charges $17 but $7.95 shipping to me so it works out better. Also I've done business with Roman (part guy at Cool spring). He's very responsive & excellent service

    Times are tough, evidently.

When I phoned they told me they would not have the caps util May 10. This morning I got an email saying the caps had been shipped and should arrive tomorrow April 26. I hope yours are ahead of schedule too.

Same here. Roman @ cool spring Toyota informed me that he got it now and will be shipping it out. Why is everything on this 2016 carries a gold plated price? $17/center cap, $250/fog light etc

The headlights are something like $1200 apiece. Situation normal.

Perhaps we should not feel too bad. I met someone who leases a 2012 Ferrari California, V8 hardshell convertible. It looks vaguely like a Corvette. He forgot to extend the warranty. Now he is afraid to put the top down because if the complicated system that folds it into the trunk fails, replacing it would cost him $25,000. Or in my world, one 2016 Prius Model 2.

I guess Ferrari wheel caps are out of the question for me.

So anyone know the correct diameter for center cap? I don't normally go cheap route, but for center caps I will be.
    I tried 55mm part number
42603-52110 ($9 a set), but was too small. Thinking 57mm is the needed spec / size?

Edit. Not too small , the above ones I bought were too big. They wouldn't lock into place , and pop back out

    LG-H901 ?

My 42603-52170's arrived just now. They snapped in snugly and look great. They have to be less expensive than those plastic wheel covers the car comes with. Toyota is so mindful of costs everywhere else, makes me wonder why they didn't just supply the car with these center caps on the stock wheels and save the cost of those plastic wheel covers, which I think look hideous.
