    Again, I'm not here to say what's good or bad. Just sayin' I'd feel perfectly comfortable applying the English words 'significant' or 'substantial' to any of those markups.

    You're aware of the substantial markup when you buy that can of Coke. I think it's fair to be aware of that.

    I don't have time to dig out my past service dept. invoices, but I'm pretty sure that they (like the one in #11) did not apply additional markups above 'list' to the parts. It would have stuck in my mind (and maybe a service manager's mind) if they had.

    Headstones, for example, cost x 3.3 is your retail price. 230% mark up.:whistle:
