gas cap and a trip to Toyota

    I don't find it hard to believe.

    And if the vehicle is otherwise behaving normally?

    What do you have to lose in driving it a week and seeing if the dealership wasn't just 100% correct?

    My guess is that the CEL was caused by a loose gas cap, and that it will all play out as the dealership is presenting.
