Gallup Surprise: Most Americans Now Say They May Buy Hybrid Cars

But which is the larger crime against humanity -- owning a hybrid
with good fuel economy, or tailgating the crap out of someone in
some twisted perception of spite? Which places more lives in
danger?

As I keep asking -- how to reach the rednecks, and make them
understand? Blinding them with smug isn't the answer. I don't
know what the right answer is, or I'd be on a crusade about it.
You can't just tell most people "don't do that" in the face of how
cars and driving are marketed to them, because they'll just
misbehave that much more.
