Fully Charged EV Range

I'll get that average over 18 soon. I've just made some tweaks in my route that allow me to travel about 18.9 miles in EV.

I know I overthink it too much, but that's my thing. I'll spend a week analyzing possible routes for the opportunity to get another 0.1 miles EV range. I like the challenge of besting my previous records. It's also fun to get over 800 miles on $30 of gas.

 

I wish I had an incline. There's only one and that's only about 100 feet long on my way to work. There's a stop sign at the bottom so I can't keep coasting.

 

The flip side is that I have to go up that incline to get home. I can't seem to beat 54 MPG on the way back, and that's being very careful. The whole trip reads anywhere from 95 - 101 MPG depending on traffic.

I would rather go down an incline both directions and get 575 MPG for the whole trip

 

is that possible?

 

I think it's a big oil conspiracy that it isn't
