    Maggie, i think you will be ok. verizon had an issue with the old Motorola V-710 and the locked down bluetooth functions. a dearly departed PC member hdrygas had one and i think he was part of a class action suit (at least i do remember him complaining about the phone because it wouldnt even connect enough to make phone calls!!) against verizon which basically resulted in verizon opening up the BT functionality. that was over two years ago (i think... been a while) so if your phone is 1½ years old it might be ok.
