I am not in California, but I just bought a 2012 Prius IV Blizzard Pearl that was still new on the lot. Got an incredible deal and generous trade. There are a few changes to the 2013 that may make a difference to you, but I found no deal breakers there. While taking the evening after the test drive to think it over we did a simple google search and found there were still several 2012's still new around town. These they want to move. We were pleased. The Escondido Toyota the guy tried to ruff me up and I left. I purchased a Carlsbad Toyota and got a good deal. I suggest you visit 3 dealers and write your notes down a take the best deal if your buying new. Used the cars drop quite a bit the first year. Should be 5-6K off original sticker
