Wife loves the white and I like the dark grey. We will probably end up going with the white.

Mark, I think the lifespan of the car is 200k on average. I feel as though 1/3 get totalled, 1/3 trade it out, and 1/3 wear out at 200k. Few cars go further. Camry and accord do go further but by how much? 75k more? The body, shocks, and interior are worn at 200k. Maybe it's ok that the engine and batteries are done too you'll save 15k in gas compared to a Kia Soul. Up to you.

Pity that due to travel bans I cannot visit the States anymore as I had planned (I was supposed to go to Philly in February) I would have ordered the absorption panel at a local dealer.

White is more visible; so, it is better for the safety. Light car colors are usually better in my opinion.

    Why would you go there

We live in Florida. Our white Prius is cool in summer but the black one struggles and never feels cool. And yes the AC systems both are in perfect working order. I'll never get a dark color in a hot state ever again

There are some great historical places to see, but that's all I can think of.

For the life of me, I can't figure why there are so many black cars here!! Besides the heat, if they have just one speck of dust on them, they jump up and down screaming, "Look at me!! I'm filthy!!! :ROFLMAO:

I just placed the order for a Windchill (white) base model Prius Prime. Super excited! They are going to let me know how long it will take for delivery. I assume a few months at least.

3-6 months in Greater Montreal region according to my brother in law (much better than the 3-5 YEARS he was told for a RAV4 Prime ).

Yeah I am hearing 3 - 6 months too. I was told there is a build manager that will contact my dealer and let them know a timeline. I love the Rav4 prime a lot! 3 -5 years?!?

I’m sure it won’t be that long but it is what dealers are telling customers at the moment.

My colleague was told 3-4 months last year. It's been 9 months and counting lol. Last I checked 2 months ago, a new order will take 2 years to fulfill.

Glad I got mine last April. 20 Primes on the lot, including 8 base models (the one I wanted) with four or five colour choices. Got the red I wanted. I was hesitating on whether to wait an extra year. Dodged a bullet for sure.
