I changed the left rear door window glass,when operating to up (close) the glass when reach full up the glass does not remains up it goes back down(open),please give some assistance. -

Couple of interesting things there.
The first is the installation of street lamp post chargers in the UK. There, the electric supply to a lamp could mean up to 24 amps available for a charger.
The second is the company, Connected Kerb. They are making low profile public chargers for street side charging with cute animal names. The interesting part concerns discussions here about income streams for charger companies.
"These bits of kit are designed to have a low visual impact, and are fitted with sensors and gauges that mean they can also provide local authorities with real-time data on traffic, weather and air conditions. In addition, they act as ultra-fast wifi points."
Which leads to UK and German cable/media/internet companies making use of their existing cabling conduits to install chargers at their service... -

PLANO, Texas (October 10, 2019) – With 20 years’ experience and more than three million alternative fuel vehicles sold in the U.S., Toyota is putting more power behind its hybrid battery and component warranty.
Today, Toyota announced it will extend its hybrid battery warranty from 8 years / 100,000 miles to 10 years from date of first use/150,000 miles, whichever comes first. This extension is valid for all new model year 2020 Toyota hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fuel cell electric vehicles. All other HV components will retain coverage under the Hybrid System Warranty at 8 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

RAV4 Plug-in Coming In 2020 (Page 4 for deets)
It’s happening! Toyota is expanding it’s Plug-in options in a major way by making a RAV4 Plug-in PHEV available for sale in 2020. No word of any kind on range or pricing yet, but Toyota was clear that the RAV4 Plug-in will be the most powerful RAV4 in the lineup.
This is a very exciting announcement as Toyota has seemed hesitant on their public commitment to battery-powered vehicles in the recent past.

Toyota Chasing Tesla Styling With 2nd Generation 2021 Mirai Fuel Cell Vehicle
Toyota is still plugging away at Fuel Cell technology, and is not willing to let a lack of styling get in the way of making it a success. The new Mirai is a beauty, for sure, with lines and features that are very reminiscent of Tesla. Built on the Lexus LS platform, the 2G Mirai will be lower to the ground, wider, and longer.
Toyota's working hard on the technical capabilities of the vehicle, too, with the 2021 model gaining 30% range over the first generation. Not many other details were released, so enjoy a press release from Toyota and the photos of this beauty. Hybrids kicked out of Free HOV?
Effective tomorrow, Virginia is kicking hybrids out of free HOV.
According to Virginia VDOT, new federal HOV rules mandated this policy change.
This has limited impact here, because Virginia has been phasing out free HOV. But some 16000 grandfathered hybrid owners just got the boot.
Does that mean nationwide, all Hybrids are kicked out of free HOV? For example, I am thinking New York LIE (Long Island Expressway) allows vehciles over 40 MPG or something like that.
I guess if this rule is true on a national basis it could shift some HOV hybrid drivers to plug-ins. But I am thinking it is possibly Virginia's response to a new guideline, and not a blanket USA ban. But who knows? -

NC to add hybrid fee
I'm in NC in the market for a prius or tdi, something fuel efficient and I'm a little concerned now that I came to find out NC is looking to add a lawthat will cost hybrid owners an extra $80 a year during registration up to $130 a year by 2022 and increasing every year. Anyone here in NC? What's your yearly registration cost? Have they tried sneaking this in yet? Kinda makes me reconsider tdi. We already pay enough taxes on diesel -

I've been waiting to share this news for a while, but I can't wait any longer. EVA Electric Vehicles for All is a new nonprofit organization I created to address the many issues this industry faces. EVA is like a hybrid between the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and Toys for Tots with a specific focus on renewable energy and sustainable transportation. So before I go into a long rant of why I created EVA, I'll give the basics of what EVA does, and the best way to do that is to read the articles of incorporation of EVA.
