I got the extended warranty. This is my first Toyota and first NEW car and it was double the warranty for 900 bucks! I personally thought that wasn't too bad. A windows motor was like 600 some bucks or something. The fiance dept persuaded me pretty good lol. I only buy extended warranties if I think they are worth it. Like my iMac I paid a pretty penny for it I plan on keeping it for a long time so I put the money into its extended warranty. To fix a logic board on a Mac is almost 800 bucks. Sorry got off topic lol. Hopefully we wont have any major problems. I'm not one to trade cars in. I plan on keeping it for 5-6 years
I'm about to pull out the wallet and pick up a C and was wondering about the warranty, but I found this on Toyota.com "Hybrid-Related Component Coverage Hybrid-related components for hybrid vehicles are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles. The HV battery may have longer coverage under emissions warranty. Refer to applicable Owner's Warranty Information booklet for details."
