Explaine how the heater works

    looked for PTC heater in the Prius C service manual and found a note stating that it is present in "cold area specification models", seems not your case nor mine (Chile)

    THANK YOU. I researched this before buying my C. This is my first winter with it so I read the manual but didn't figure it out. I tried your settings today and they worked like a charm. No more cold mornings - all thanks to you!

    I had a Golf diesel before this and it had an electric heater. I liked that it would make audible clicking noises under the dash when the element kicked on and off so I knew exactly when I had gotten the temp and fan to just the right position to trigger it. No such noises in the C.

    Ah. That explains why I have never seen, and will never see, this behavior. :)

    I heat my cabin with the electric seat heaters... lol
