My best EV months, I get about 1100 or 1200 miles on the tank. My poor EV months maybe 850 or 800. But I charge often.
7,599 As of today. Recent commute change has greatly increased the pace of EV miles. No changes might put me in contention with the leaders in a year or so.
Even with my commute changes in sucking wind. How many do you think you or ona week? (Curious if there's a snowball's chance in hell that I'll ever catch you.)
Our local rusty trailer hitch guy pads his EV totals by driving in circles around the Circle K and Get Go gas pumps.
i don't think so. pretty sure there were a few higher, but they'll have to jump in, i'm not plowing through 7 pages of posts to find out.
i do 15 a day, 6 days a week, plus numerous short side trips. my routine doesn't change much, so it's 114 weeks minus 10 weeks in florida, into 14,000 = 135 miles per week or so. my hv is 6500 for a total of 20,000+. i only do one major hv trip a week, and that's only from may through october, plus other shorter ones.
Still got a shot. I'm currently looking a 3-4 full charge/discharge cycles a day Monday - Friday and 2 or more Saturday and Sunday. The chase is on!
I'm still searching for that route that will drive like tahoe to sacramento . Of course I'd have to go to LA, Vegas, Reno to get back.
also targeting the Big Bisco I think it'll take another 3-4 months though 13,150 EV, 200 miles a week but 90% EV...
He's a marked man. Lately my daily charges are good for nearly 325+ (per week), but I've got work to do.
325 EV a week ?! what do you do down there ? my daughter is now at WVU and it didn't strike me as a plug-in town but what do I know...
WVU is a great institution - she'll be happy she chose to become a Mountaineer. Currently, there's only one public station that I know of, so you're right - not very EV friendly. Also not friendly in terms of range with the terrain. I'm helping my neighbor out for the short term (maybe long-term who knows) managing the finance department for two (sometimes all three) of his family's car dealerships (former manager jumped ship after becoming an overnight millionaire with the natural gas movement here). I get one full charge before heading to work, another at my first stop (usually ford), a second once getting to the Mopar shop and there's usually a full charge there before heading back to the Ford store and then a last full charge before heading home. It's a lot of seat time, but a lot of free juice Long-term, this pace won't hold and I'll be back to eating his dust I'm sure.
