Hey Bisco, I just saw this thread and noticed this post. How do you reboot and what happens when you reboot outside of the expected mileage "resetting"? I'm not even sure what resetting this does exactly. I just know mine fluctuates over time. And this is only owning the car a month.

you reboot the computers by disconnecting the 12v negative for a few minutes. this sets the factory default range estimate, because a new car has no experience to calculate.

Do you mean because I was posting about a used Leaf so much?

That would have been for my wife. But we haven't pulled the trigger yet.

And I will likely be driving my PiP until 2019 or 2020 when I can get a Model 3.

Do you guys think (or know) if the BMS is doing some scheduled basic cells' maintenance? Like charging to 95% or 100% SOC once in long time trying to 'wake-up' lasy cells?

Sometimes - yes, in actual km.
Example: about 40 days ago I could barely make a regular 22 km round trip at 18C coming home with 0.1 km on the display. Yesreday for same trip I have got 1.3 km left on the display, same temp and about same traffic.
Maybe traffic lights timing was better last time, maybe a bit lighter traffic? But 1.2 km difference on 22 seems high for these.
    Just a thought.

interesting, i haven't seen that. but i might not notice 5% of 11 miles. anything is possible i suppose. it would be cool to find out if toyota has preplanned diagnostics and maintenance modes.

Hit 40k EV miles. 50/50. Very happy with first 4 years of ownership. Who else has 40k EV miles. Would love to see.
