EPA makes it official: 2008 Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon hybrids get (20 or) 21 mpg

    The Suburban I'm thinking of is this monstrosity http://www.chevrolet.com/suburban/. It has a curb weight of 5607 to 6385 lbs. depending on the model.

    Oh yeah, that's the same Suburban here lol. That's from the mid 90s. No worries, it still looks the same as cwerdna points above

    Heck, a Prius looked like a grain of rice from inside the last-gen Silverado ext cab 4x4 I used to own. It was longer than the crew cab model. I think even longer than the Suburban. Definitely would not fit in a 20-ft deep garage bay (I tried my best). :p Three point (uhm, make that ten point) turns were always an adventure. I often felt scared for anybody in front of me driving a subcompact. The hood of my truck was higher than their roof. I sure don't miss the crapola MPG or trying to park. It was pleasant to drive, even if stopping distance was very suspect given its 3-ton curb weight.
