Environmental group takes on Toyota.

    I agree with most of your points. I did a check on the IS250 RWD automatic. 2.5 litre V6 with 204hp. It weighs 1556kg. This car has similar fuel economy as our 160hp 2.4 litre I4 Camry sedan at 1500kg!.

    I think this argument has to be looked in relative terms. How much did Toyota's CAFE standards go down RELATIVE to the other manufacturers? If the difference is larger than say, GM or BMW then ok, they're guilty. But if their difference is less, then you can't really put all the pressure on them. They've managed to introduce these vehicles with minimal impact on fuel economy.
