Engine removal and replacement question.

I am bumping this old thread to update, I just pulled the harness thru the firewall hole/large rubber grommet on the passenger side. This was much easier than disconnecting all the points on the engine and actually a lot of the disconnections I made on the transaxle were also unnecessary as that wire harness is in one unit.

The plugs are easily accessible after removing the glovebox door and the black kick panel directly underneath. I will post pictures once I finish the swap. This saves a lot of work accessing the hard to get to plug on the back of the transaxle and the one underneath the intake manifold.
