So, where is this Tom's electronic shifter item that is in black, if you'd be so kind to show me...... :noidea:

 

You can easily find it on TOM's product pages. The difference is : it is matte-black, not silver.

 

Any luck with switching the buttons around? Also what is the link to TOM's shifter?

 

Ditto.......I didn't find it thru my searching on their site...... But, knowing me, it's probably on the front page of their website! lol! That's the one thing I dislike about the silver trim on the doors on the armrest... I'm constantly "trying my hardest" to scratch them!

Hurray, you guys really found TOM's site? Sometime it's easer to ask instead of using google...

In fact, the silver OGS switch reflects the light of the roof LED at night. That's not bad but I guess the black version will not reflect it. But somehow the black doesn't match with the interiour much if not the dark grey one is choosen. IMHO a gunmetal color ar dark grey instead of black would be nice. Till today no customer of mine asked any other shifter color than silver.

 

Only bad thing about the BLACK one now is that it has TOM'S illuminated across the middle of it.... Not particularly fond of that. Would rather they had just kept the outline of the Prius shape like the silver one.....

 

Agree. I would probably buy it if it wasn't for that.

 

Thinking the same thing... a bit too proud of brand name... I don't want TOM's all over my Prius... and with a light on it... Someone is on crack rock... now if it said XMAN LIVE maybe...LOL.... all of his stuff has logo on it. You can see by visiting web site...what a big head... need a mod just to hide logos. :rant::rant::rantain and still no US version... lets get it right....LOL...

Good job. We can suggest this mod/design to Toyota. But of course in LHD pattern.

 

Where did you buy yours? The one mentioned on eBay doesn't have that Prius outline on it.... Just has "OGS" lit up on it.....same dilemma as the TOM'S ones having "TOM'S" lit up across them.... I'm not too keen on having these weird names in lights across something in the center of my cockpit for all my passengers to see! lol

 

I bought one on ebay but got a surprise.. when it got to my local post office they said the package has incorrect address and are about to send it back to the shipper.

the guys in japan wrote the address wrong on the shipping slip even though it was supposed to be just coppied from paypal....
