    I like that idea. I really just suspect that all the computers are being rebooted and the ones responsible for HV Battery charge levels attempt to return to these parameters of original factory design. Toyota could address some of these issues , but they just shut the hell up. Thanks Toyota.

    More likely, that supposition was based on the composite of multiple past posts.

    I happen to already know the sex of Priuskitty, from years ago. It's all perfectly logical.

    This analysis was done about half a year ago based on data until then. I wonder whether there are new data available for the period up till now. If so, you can send them to me ([email protected]) and I will extend the analysis. Remember that it is all about the kWh input measured for charging the battery, in particular for situations when it is as empty as possible.

    My recent measurements (October 2015) yield 2.79 kWh average (of two measurements) for the same SOC span (see post #38).
    My EV ratio from Feb. 2014 (i.e. over 21 months) is:

    Hope this is of help.

    As some of you know in the past I collected data and made estimations of the degradation of battery capacity. Now I have sold my PiP I want to finish this exercise and see whether it can be published somewhere. It would be nice to have some recent data points to see in how far the estimations made in the past predict them. Did you participate then (this would apply to giora, bisco, Charles H, potorap, and eug) and do you have some of such data points from the last half year, indicating the maximal number of kWh you can feed in the battery (when only two or three bars are left)?
    You can send them to [email protected]

    Thanks in advance,

    Jan

    Check out the latest results from the Idaho labs testing of 4 2013 Prius Plug-ins.

    Three of the cars have about 150,000 miles on them and the fourth has about 100,000. Check out the battery testing results to see that all 4 cars showed excellent battery capacity.

    @Jan Treur
    I have mailed you my recent results.
    If you publish something, do not forget to link it here for the benefit of PChatters.

    @Jeff N
    Do you have data (personal or other) of the Volt's battery degradation in time and use?

    Thanks, very interesting info! I will also incorporate this.
    Do you have any idea where these 4 cars were used (concerning climate)?
