Driving experiences of 2000 Insight vs 2007 Prius

    • Red IMA light = Red Triangle of death. Not always a hybrid component problem with Toyota, but always with the Honda IMA light. Usually it's the traction pack with an issue
    • EV switch with Prius drivers is like MIMA in Insight drivers - they forget it's not a plugin and will quickly drain the traction pack.
    • A feather touch on the accelerator is critical to activate the EV mode in the Prius or lean burn mode in the 5-speed Insight.

    I own both as well. I'm impressed with how well the Prius does with basically no effort, but I am selling it and keeping my insight. It's more fun to dive but I grew up with 90s Hondas.
