Doesn't the "hybrid premium" only apply if you pay in cash?

    the hybrid premium is the benefit you get from reducing your carbon footprint. the flip side to that would be the "carbon ICE penalty"

    btw; the "true definition of "carbon ICE penalty" or its cousin "hybrid premium" has no mention of finances, costs, etc. simply because the true cost of continuing to buy and burn foreign oil is too depressing to calculate
