No name, haven't named my last 4. Last car I named was my 74 Caprice Classic Buella My friends named the XJ6 Princes and the X-type Dutchess.

"Amapola," Spanish; poppy. Reasons: 1. Seductive Barcelona red exterior 2. Song, "Amapola," begins; "A boy found a dream upon a distant shore..." ((1941, Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, vocals by Jeanette McDonald and Bob Eberly (http://www.pcdon.com/-JimmyDorsey_Amapola.wav ) 3. Soon to be grandfather, "Poppi?" 4. Reminder that recouping hybrid upgrade cost differentials through gas savings may be a pipe dream.
My shiny green prius is named "Emily" and she talks to me Technically only the nav system is "Emily"; but where's the anthropomorphism in naming a part of the car? Interestingly, the prius is the first car I've seriously named anything beyond "the car", "my car", "mini" or "toymotor" as appropriate.

Hey, I do that. The car itself is Tommy (for those who don't want to scroll back several pages, the full name is "Tom Swift and his Electro-Mechanical Auto-mobile"), but the nav system is Holly (from Red Dwarf).
My first Prius' name was Pearl (Driftwood Pearl, Standard), my new Prius' name is Shadow (Magnetic Gray Metallic, Touring) and my fiancee's is named Blü (Seaside Pearl, Standard).
