Does your Prius Have a Name?

Which means:

The crocodile that walks like an Egyptian.



Or the Prius... whichever comes to mind first.

 

Still awaiting mine from the dealer so haven't officially named it yet.....

At the mo its still my Pri or just the new car. Will wait and see what nicknames it gets at work and how it drives before choosing one.

This will be the first car that I'm going to name. My current car has two nicknames:
ouioui (the French name for Noddy - Enid Blytons children's books)
or the golf cart.

Its a red smart so both of these go well for it.

 

My Prius is "Sanguine Star"

 

Our 2008 Mica Blue pkg. 5 is "Koseireiko" (Ko-sear-ray-ko), Japanese for "steath child".

 

Being that she is a 2004 Salsa Red beauty. I named her Ruby.

 

Mine is unofficially named Maybelline after the Chuck Berry song. Sometimes I call her the Blue Bitch, though. In a respectful way, of course.

 

The car's name is Jetson...My wife says its like something George Jetson would drive!

 

Hey my car is named "The Golf Cart"! I could have a twin in France.

 

I call mine JAWS, the great grey shark. Under the cover, it looks like it has a dorsal fin like a shark. On the road, it just "eats" up the mileage from the shear fun and enjoyment from driving.

i typically don't name my cars, but my prius first had the nickname 'lunchbox'. this was given to it by my son's friends. they got the name from one of jeff dunham's ventriloquist skits. however, my son's friend renamed it 'phantom'. he says that is due to the fact that when we drop him off after school, he turns around and we have silently slipped away.

 

Mine is Soledad. Named after my favorite actress, Soledad Miranda (Soledad Miranda - Blood Queen), and because it's the only spectra blue mica I've ever seen! (Soledad is Spanish for solitude)

I have posted here before with the grand unveiling of the name of my baby. However, it has acquired a nickname within the family. We call it the Tweedle car. I think it is in the Dr. Seuss book "Fox in Socks" where a tweedle beetle battle is mentioned. How we ever started calling it the Tweedle car, I can't say. If we are debating over which of our two vehicles to take somewhere, and we choose the Prius, someone invariably says "Let's go in the Tweedle car!"
