Does Prius have a timer?

Hmm... total hours and total revolutions counters for the engine would be interesting...

not all cars do... only ones with scangauge...or you could just user the timer in the Prius... albeit, the 5 minute intervals make not be convenient for all needs

The timer wasn't for the time to let the Turbo cool it was the time between you stopping to let the turbo cool down. And I didn't write the owners manual I just followed what it said, I had blown out that turbo once before and had it replaced by the warranty and didn't want to go through that song and dance again.
This was on my 05 A4 Quattro.

 

Of course it has a timer.

If I leave work at 5:45
And get to the gym at 6:10
I subtract 5:45 from 6:10 = It took me 25 mins to get to my destination.
