Do you use parking brake?

I figured an electric parking brake, and nearly everyone uses them now, counts as additional hardware to get a disc brake working as a parking one. When when rear discs were new, the old cable application of the rear brakes might not have put enough force on the calipers, leading to rolling of cars with the brake applied.
