Just going by the voltage, looks it's still ok. But considering the age, I'd get an electronic load test. There are relatively inexpensive such testers available, automotive retailers often have them and will test for free, and dealerships as well have them, but will likely charge you, somewhere between $50~100. If I was buying one today it'd probably be Solar BA9. Ancel is another popular brand.

Anyone tried a trickle charger to get volts on the circuit?

Not sure what you mean, in particular the part I made bold. Our ‘10 is low usage these days, and I keep the 12 volt battery on a smart charger pretty much constantly. I’m using a CTEK 4.3 (current iteration is called CTEK 5 IIRC; essentially the same AFAIK).

    Just during a battery swap.
Anyway OBE! AutoZone did it without any issues on the 2019.
Highlander is a bigger project when that day comes.

Just replaced mine. It wouldn't start and lights all over the place. Checked the battery and it was 9v. Got a DieHard that fits it (expensive as all get out). I live in the sticks so that's the only one they had. Did the fuel door thingy and drove straight for a few hundred feet or so and so far so good. Had to change the time but I did not lose the radio presets. I'll gradually get it back the way it was.

I didn't have to replace the batteries on my 2005 and 2013 Prius'. I had them well over 7 years each.

Ok, so what is the relationship between the traction batteries and the 12v battery? How does the 12v battery get charged as I'm not sure there is an alternator on this car.

Before the battery died I was driving this vehicle (Wife's car I don't drive it much. Prefer my 16 Tacoma.) and noticed the charging on the traction batteries was all over the place. It never got to nearly full charge like normal. I can't exactly say what it was doing although it struck me as being a bit abnormal. The traction batteries would lose charge sitting still. After I changed the 12v battery out with a new one, the traction batteries went back to normal 'charging' as far as I could tell and no issues so far.
