    Have you heard about reaction times in drag racing?
    Well... the max power maybe the same in all power modes, but the reaction time in PWR Mode is DRASTICALLY faster than in all the others and the difference is night and day in the very short run, which in most cases is the "emergency" run or the difference between a crash and a near miss...

    Haven't tried in my Prius yet, but in wife's TCH the threshold is the same: 40MPH
