<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(pinball @ Nov 25 2006, 11:13 AM) </div> It's been a while since I had paintless dent removal done on my wife's car. If my memory serves me correctly, it was not any cheaper in California than what you were quoted in the UK.
It's the absolute worst when someone keys your beautiful car! I have one  Has anyone had luck with the paint markers like PaintScratch?
i have ding king and it works great for round dents. mine is a crease though. ding king actually worked great taking a silver dollar sized ding out of the passenger rear door on my 04. my dent now is a crease nearly a foot long. that ding king cannot do. i actually was perusing a parts site online and they had parts for sale for the Prius and it provided exploded diagrams different parts. enough that i may take my hood apart and try a rubber mallet on it... gently of course.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(luna @ Nov 25 2006, 02:55 PM) </div> Those paint markers are the same "pen" technology you can get from your Toyota dealer that come with exact match Toyota paint. They work well if your shake it very well before applying. The more you shake the closer the color match.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveinOlyWA @ Nov 25 2006, 08:47 PM) </div> careful with creases and mallets, dave... that's how we ended up paying the paint guy to pull our dent (a creased dent in the crease at the bottom of the door) and repaint the bottom part of the door. DH yanked the inside door panel and got a rubber mallet and a wood block and started to gently tap at the dent, ended up cracking the paint when the crease popped out a little bit.
