Did you name your Prius?

I named mine "My Priuscious"... well at least on Fuelly anyways hah. I would not dare use it in public. Even my wife thinks I'm crazy for naming my car.

 

My wife named it Hubble, kind of like the telescope but more like the little dog in "Good Boy" as it's very friendly and smart. Also it drives like a space shuttle and sounds like the "space pod" in "2001" when moving slowly.

I call mine "Parisa" It's a Persian female name meaning: Face of an Angel ! and you have to see my GF's reaction to this

 

All our cars have names: Madame Red, Smokey, Mr. White, and Prissy. You know which one is the Prius.

 

I refer to mine as "the Maytag" inspired by the car's driving dynamics.

 

I decided on a name for my 2010 Prius when I created a mileage log on Cleanmpg.com

My Prius' Cleanmpg.com moniker is HyperDrive 1 - which is a sly references to the Star Trek like (TNG) dashboard design and the Hypermiling techniques that I am learning.

For consistency, I have also used the same name on Fuelly.com

 

My Prius is named "Priya"...slip of the tongue & also an Indian name

Now this is a good name! And a great reason for it!

 

My 3013 metallic red prius goes by Roxy.

 

My wife calls her Pri-Pri,

 

I named mine OptPrius Prime - because i'm a nerd.
