    OK, well detective work can be fun. We'll see if I'm correct about this. My Toyota e-mail says the PiP (#2875) left Japan on 3/24. Cetus Leader arrived in Japan on 3/22, but there aren't any updates I can find. However, it seems at least possible that if the Cetus Leader arrived empty on 3/22, it could well have been loaded up and sent on its way back over here by 3/24.

    Maybe if Dianne checks in she can confirm this (or deny).


    Funny how I just showed up on the lot one day - and there it was. We were supposed to be shopping for a car for my daughter - ha ha! I never really gave a moment's thought about how these cars get here in the first place - until now!

    Cetus Leader left carry Toyotas from Japan on 3/25 according to my screens. It's slated to arrive in Long Bedach around 4/9.

    I'll check and see if any other # cars are on Boats at this point but I think not.

    I will try and get everyone with a car on-ground delivered by Good Friday, the 6th. I am finally taking two days off in a row (really! :eek: ) and that's Easter Weekend. No PHEVS (PLUGINS) will be delivered Easter Weekend. I'm not going to be here, and neither is Nathan, my assistant.
    If you car isn't here by the day of the 6th, plan for after Easter Weekend, like Monday the 9th and beyond.

    Judging by the number of orders I've seen on this thread alone, she might eventually be delivering more than 100 tons! (at 1.5 tons/Prius)…:eek:

    Did you buy your PiP from Carson Toyota?... If so, I was thinking about getting the aftermarket leather done as well... How did yours turn out and how much did you pay?

    Yes, mine was from Dianne at Carson. The price of the leather depends on which leather you pick and whether you get two tone, etc. Ask Dianne about the price.

    I'm going with a single color gray (without the holes)... I think Dianne originally gave me a ballpark price of $1,200 and was wondering if that's approximate to what you paid... Also, how did yours turn out?

    Yes, that's the approximate price for standard leather, as I recall. I'm very pleased with the installation on my car.

    OK - I have the Priuschat Swag for your SWAGgering owners.
    I'm split decision tho - do I send gift packs out after the cars are all done/delivered? I'd kind of like to get to know everyone as best I can to figure out what my own personal gift to you all will be ... rather that just "pick something" interesting.

    I have a Laguna Beach artist finishing up something unique and signed and very individual right now... and very Limited edition for just you folks who did the pre-orders thru me!

    Probably best to box and mail these after the smoke clears, proverbially... I'm still a little behind on the gas cards going out but plan to catch up this wekeend.

    I'm here Sunday so those of you with these car #'s... if you need to come by Sunday versus next week... call me for an appt!

    #145 Picked up today! Thanks for a smooth experience....My kids think I am the coolest dad now...Well, they said that when I got my Porsche and M3 too... But I am really liking my PIP....
