For a minimalist look, I buy a Dynamat Xtreme License Plate Kit from the world of car audio. Stick the four neoprene foam strips on the back of the plate, then slightly bend out the bottom two corners to keep them from banging against the paint. Yes, you could always buy two kits, so you have enough pieces to avoid bending the plate. Throw away the dealer's frame and Dynamat frame.
yep that and the stupid stickers they put on the back. I always take the sticker off the day i get home
