dashboard phone mounts

I have a Spigen magnetic mount that clips into the vent grill. It's unobtrusive when the phone is not there, and with the Spigen slimline case, there's an indentation inside the case for the metal panel that the magnet attracts. It stays put, doesn't wobble, and can hold the phone in portrait or landscape orientation for music or maps use.

 

+1 for proclip, used it since I got my C in 2012, love it. Super sturdy, I can slip my phone into it for instant charging, perfect placement, barely have to move my right hand off the steering wheel to use navigation/phone features. Expensive, but worth it IMO.

 

I have tried several different styles and Proclip is by far the best that I have used.

 

This one is pretty neat and sits in the front panel pocket secured by 3m tape. Not a perfect fit. It's meant for right side drive vehicles. Barely fits a 3in wide phone. Google: sy-a3

 

Ordered this one off of Amazon. I currently use one that is magnetic and clips to the vent, and I don't love it. Hoping this one works out.

Scoche's good mount, I put it to the right of the Car/Apps/Setup button. Then I put the magnetic plate inside my cellphone but it actually put a crack on the side of the cover because nothing was meant to be wedged in there. Works fine if you have a regular case though or just stick it on the back of the phone directly!

 

Here we go. I like it much better than the vent-mounted one that I was using. It doesn't block anything that I need to see. The switch for hazards is slightly behind it when phone is up, but it's thankfully rare that I need access to that.

For over two years I've been using the Nimbus Mount and its def the best way to go.

 

I also got the Kenu Airframe+ a few months ago. It works well enough for me. It's secure in my middle vent (closer to driver side) and I haven't had it fall out unlike some magnetic ones I've tried. Good purchase
